It takes patience and perseverance to be able to capture animals for what they are.

As it is mating season for them(which occurs from the end of September to November), it is key to point out that male deer(stag) can be aggressive. So taking extra care when approaching these animals is advisable.
I could’ve opted for telephoto-lens on this occasion but chose to use a prime lens. On this occasion, made it extra challenging but made it personal and stimulating to see nature for what it is.
I followed this deer for awhile that was elusive at first, but in the end, finally accepted me and got a chance for a close encounter with this majestic animal.
